SLTC LEOS

“Chillenium”, the year-end party of the Sri Lanka Technological Campus was held on the 20th December 2018 in the campus premises.    Funds were collected from issuing tickets for participants. We had decorated our premises in the theme of “Red Indian”. All of our academic staff were invited to join this great event. At the same time all the campus students had a great time with their colleagues at the party. We had organized to have a great fun with their batch  mates as well as other students and to show their hidden talents in front of a great audience.  At the party there were many Leos who showed their talents like compering and singing. Leo Dulana Samarasinghe, Leo Vimantha Perera, Prospect Russel Alagoda, Leo Kaveen Rathnayake, Leo Ruvindha, Leo Pramod Kalhara are the students who entertained our students with their outstanding performances. දියණියක  ලෙස  පිය  තුරුල  මත  උණුහුමින්  හද  සුව  ලැබූ  මා ... දියණියක  ලෙස  මව්  දෙවඟනක්  දැක  ආලයෙන්  ලොබ  බැඳුනි  පෙරදා ... ගැහැනියක  ලෙස  අඹු  සුවය  මත  සැනසුමක්  නොදැනුන  හින්දා ... මෙහෙනියක්  ලෙස  බුදු  සෙවණේ  හිඳ  වෙහෙසකර මේ  සසරෙ  නිවුනා ... බෞද්ධයකු වශයෙන් තම ගිහි ජීවිතය නිමා කොට පැවිදි ජීවිතයක ආරම්භය විශාල වූ පුණ් ‍ ය මහිමයකින් සිදු වන බව පිළිගනියි . මෙහෙණි සසුනෙහි දුර්ලභත්වයට හේතු විමසමින් ඇරඹූ කතිකාවතක හා එහි පුනර්වෘද්ධිය සඳහා වෑයමක ඇරඹුමක් ලෙස ශ් ‍ රී ලංකා තාක්ෂණික විශ්ව විද් ‍ යාලයීය ලියෝ සමාජය විසින් ඔක්තෝබර් මස 18,19 දෙදින නිමාවට පත් කළ පළමු අදියර ලෙස ධම්ශීල අභිවන්දනා සටහන් විය . ලියෝ කමිටු රැස්වීමකදී සංවාදයට නැගුණු ' මෙහෙනි සසුනේ පුනර්වෘද්ධිය ' පිළිබඳ කතා බහ තුල ඒ සඳහා අපට කළ හැකි දේ පිළිබඳව ද ඇති වූ අදහස් රාශියක් අතුරින් ...

Project " Samayan " organized by SLTC Leos was successfully completed on 17 th  July 2018 in Campus premises.This was the first project of the new leoistic year 2018/2019 of SLTC Leo's.There are lots of talented students in SLTC and this event helped to them to come forward and illustrate their talents. This event was great opportunity to enhance inter relationship between other Leo clubs as well as among the students of SLTC. Most people love music, it is the supposed universal language of mankind and music is the best medicine for stress.  So that ‘Samayan’ had been a big change for everyone and also be a good few hours of mind relaxing. Music crew played songs which are never can be forgotten from our hearts. Such as “Kurutu Gaa gee pothe”, “Sadalatha Payala”, “Daffodil Male”.. Project ‘Thuru Viyan’ that organized by Leo Club of Sri Lanka Technological Campus was successfully completed on 31 st August in Kurulu Kale sanctuary, Kegalle. The intention of this project was to discover the natural beauty of the sanctuary and to clean garbage in order to protect lands which provide habitat to many native wildlife, birds, fish and plants and has rare diversity of plants. However at the end of the day Leos could collect huge amount of Plastic, Polythene bags, Broken bottle pieces and many other garbage in Kurulu Kale and we decided to recycle that garbage in a proper way. The main reason for this kind of environmental problems is, people do not think to protect environment though environment protect human. And also Leos think to make an Impact on people to think about above manner from these kind of projects, because people have a responsibility to protect the environment.   අපචායණ ශ්‍රී ලංකා තාක්ෂණික විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයීය ලියෝ සමාජය විසින් සංවිධාන කරන ලද "අපචායණ" වැඩිහිටි සත්කාරමය වැඩසටහන 2018 අගෝස්තු මස 26 වන දින මහනුවර ගෙලිඔය , ඇල්පිටිය උතුරු ජේෂ්ඨ පුරවැසි නිවහනේ දී සාර්ථකව පවත්වන ලදි. සිය දිවියේ සැඳෑ සමය තනිව ගත කරන මේ දෙමාපියන්ගේ විඩාබර වියපත් වූ සිත් සනසාලීමට මෙන්ම ඔවුන්ගේ මුවගට සිනහවක් කැන්දා ගෙන ඒමට අප ලියෝවරු කටයුතු කලහ. වියපත් දෙමාපියන් නහවා පිරිසිදු කිරීම මෙන්ම ඔවුන්ගේ නිවහන කුණු දුහුවිලි ඉවත් කර පිරිසිදු කිරීමද එදින සිදුකෙරිණි. තම දූ පුතුන් ගැන බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන් සිටින මේ දෙමාපියන්ට තවත් ආගන්තුක පිරිසක් නොවුණු අප ලියෝ කැල ආදරයෙන් , දයාවෙන් හා ළෙන්ගතුකමින් සංග්‍රහ කරමින් ඔවුන්ගේම දරුවන් ලෙස එම හෝරා කිහිපය ගත කලහ.
