Project " Samayan " organized by SLTC Leos was successfully completed on 17th July 2018 in Campus premises.This was the first project of the new leoistic year 2018/2019 of SLTC Leo's.There are lots of talented students in SLTC and this event helped to them to come forward and illustrate their talents.


This event was great opportunity to enhance inter relationship between other Leo clubs as well as among the students of SLTC.Most people love music, it is the supposed universal language of mankind and music is the best medicine for stress. So that ‘Samayan’ had been a big change for everyone and also be a good few hours of mind relaxing.


Music crew played songs which are never can be forgotten from our hearts. Such as “Kurutu Gaa gee pothe”, “Sadalatha Payala”, “Daffodil Male”.. And Prospect Wayantha Rathnakala did a Violin Solo which was the most heart touching part of the event.


District President of Leo  District  306  A2,  Leo  Lion  Kasun Lokugamage  and  Registrar of SLTC and also the Faculty Advisor of Leo Club of SLTC  Ms.  Pabasara  Amarawardena  gave positive  feedbacks  on  their  speeches.  Ms.  Pabasara  Amarawaradena said  that  introducing  the  Leoism  to  the  campus  was  the  best  decision that  she  has  made  throughout  her  SLTC  career. 

Moreover, by completing this project, our team of Leos gained a memorable experience. They learned how to work as a team worked, socialized, felt motivated to finish what we start appreciated each other.

BLUE PLANET...

To save life below water... Project " BLUE PLANET" organized by SLTC Leos was successfully completed on 23rd  August 2019 at Egodahena beach, Moratuwa. This was the first environmental project of the new leoistic year 2019/2020 of SLTC Leo's.   The biggest source of pollution in the ocean is directly from human activities. 80% of the pollution happens from the land. Every day thousands of trash and waste are dumped into the ocean. 90% of floating materials are plastic and polythene. These plastics are harmful to the animals who live in the ocean because they do not decompose and it’s one of the biggest environmental threats.
