SLTC LEOS

The best governance process for a club is the meetings held within the club. It ensures transparency while providing updates for all the members. The general meeting of the month of May was held via gotomeeting and was a great success. The Chief Guest of the general meeting of the month May was the Multiple Council Chairperson of Lions Multiple District 306, Lion Arjun Abeysinghe PMJF and the Guest of honour was the Multiple District Vice President of Leo Multiple 306, Leo Champaka Dammage, while the special Guest was the Multiple District Chairman for Leos of Leo Multiple District 306, Lion Widyakeerthi Dissanayaka MJF. The monthly General meeting was held on the 10th of April 2020 via the GoToMeeting app online from 6.00 pm onwards due to the current COVID-19 outbreak. The meeting was conducted online with the participation of the honorable Chief Guest, Multiple District president, Leo Multiple District 306, Leo Dilruk Tissera, Guest of Honor, District Chairman for Leos, Leo District 306 A2, Lion Anura Goonatilleke and Special Guest, Lion Noel Palliyaguru. All the Leos and the prospects were able to know the experiences of the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, and Special guest.The online meeting was concluded after discussing current issues and plans for the future development of the club.

The Monthly General meeting was held on the 13th of March 2020 at the campus premises from 6.15 p.m onwards. Starting with the national anthem,reciting the pledge and inspiring speeches throughout the event was a good inducement for our Leos and prospects to this precious journey. The meeting was conducted with the participation of our honourable chief guest, District Vice President Leo Pasindu Mahawatta and Guest of honour, Region Director-Region B- 306A2, Leo Osura Perera, all the Leo members, and Leo prospects were able to know their experiences and memories all through their Leo journey. At last, the event was concluded after a small discussion on the current issues, solutions for them and some proposals for the future development of the club, which proves the passion of Leos and prospects towards the club.

The monthly general meeting of the Leo club of Sri Lanka Technological Campus was held on the 4th of November 2019 from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm at auditorium 01 with the active participation of the club members. The meeting started according to the protocols. Mainly the executive staff along with the club members discussed the succeeding processes of the club. And the club Vice President gave feedback about the projects that were carried out during the past month and members were given the chance to share their valuable ideas and comments for the betterment of the club. Everyone was encouraged to carry out their responsibilities to the fullest to strengthen the club.  The guest of honor of the meeting was Leo Shehan Akmeemana, Director - District Contest who gave his ideas about our club and inspired us to keep our hard work. F or a new beginning under the guidance of our newly elected club  president Leo Lakshitha Sandaruwan, the first event of our club, the  Monthly general meeting was held for the month of July. The General meeting was held on the 08th August 2019  at the SLTC campus premises with the participation of our honorable chief  guest, Zonal director of zone B2 Leo Raseema Sugandi and Guest of  honor, the director of membership retention, Leo Navod Kriwaththuduwa,  all the Leo members and Leo prospects were able to know their  experiences and memories all through their Leo journey.
